Sick Baby

Boston is still trying to get over whatever it was I brought home from school last week. He has been on an antibiotic for over a week now and has been receiving breathing treatments every four hours from this machine we brought home from the doctor. He hates it, but he seems to be breathing a little bit better. I have been fighting a cold for over two weeks with no end in sight. Will spring ever get here?

Valentines weekend was eventful. Cara and I tried to go to Red Lobster on Saturday, but the plans soon changed once we saw the parking lot. We said, "Let's go around 4:00 to beat the rush." Apparently everyone else in Ft. Wayne had the same idea. We ended up at BW3, which was fine by the three of us. Boston loves chicken! On Saturday we watched a student of mine play sled hockey. The league is created for kids and adults who are in some way walking impaired. They maneuver a sled around the ice using their arms to pull themselves with short hockey sticks that have spurs on the end of them. It was pretty cool.

In other exciting valentine news, Definitely Gary made it into the Journal Gazette on Friday. "My Baby Loves Fat Free Butter Spread" was voted one of the area's Best Local Love Songs. There was a small write up in Friday's Weekender. It's great to be famous. Here's a link.
